The stars align when internationally acclaimed impersonator Joe Posa and award-winning vocalist Seth Sikes unite to perform “TRIBUTES” a loving homage to female leading legends.

This show, produced by the leading men, brings two worlds of performance art together: female impersonation and live singing. Joe impersonates Joan Rivers, Barbra Streisand and Liza Minnelli while Seth delights audiences with his soulful voice singing nostalgic tunes made famous by Judy Garland, Bernadette Peters and more!

Audiences are treated to some special moments when Joe as Barbra Streisand and then as Liza Minnelli will lip sync along with live vocals from Seth. These duets (part live & part lip sync), have never been done in this way before!

Joe Posa:

“He truly inhabits Joan’s persona.” The Daily Beast

“He has the Rivers’ mannerisms down pat and the pace of the comedy is perpetual.” Boyz Publication, London

“A true work of comedy genius!” Puerto Vallarta Daily

Seth Sikes:

“Less an impression of Judy than an interpretation of her vibrato-heavy method of belting- was a hit!” The New York Times

“Absolute joy. Incredibly moving. Don’t miss it!” The Huffington Post

“One of the saviors of the Great American Songbook.” NY Arts Review

Nicolas King and Seth Sikes, two of New York’s most popular young nightclub entertainers, join forces for an evening you won’t want to miss. The swinging American Songbook is the specialty of these performers, and the pair will pay tribute to the show-stopping stars who paved the way, such as Sammy Davis Jr., Anthony Newley, Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, Barbra Streisand and more! Nicolas and Seth will carry the torch from these legendary performers and the great songwriters who wrote so many of their hits.

King is an award-winning artist who’s been ‘belting’ out tunes since he was 4-years-old, having been seen in dozens of TV commercials, and numerous times on Broadway opposite Tom Selleck, Carol Burnett, Linda Lavin and Andrea McArdle. King was the longest running “Chip” in Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. He toured the country as Liza Minnelli’s opening act, and has performed on stages all over the world from Carnegie Hall to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Sikes is one of New York City’s most popular nightclub singers. His critically-acclaimed tributes to Judy Garland (which won a Broadway World Award), Liza Minnelli, and Bernadette Peters are a consistent draw for audiences around the world. The hardworking Sikes, a native of Texas, was also Associate Director on the multiple Tony-award winning musical The Band’s Visit. Seth Sikes and Nicolas King will deliver a powerhouse performance that promises to capture the glitter and magic of the New York nightclub scene of long ago, and bring it into the next generation!

SETH SIKES

Seth Sikes is one of New York’s most popular young nightclub performers. Hailed as “the best male singer of his generation” by Theatre Scene, Sikes has been selling out venues since his 2014 debut Seth Sikes Sings Judy Garland. The show recounted how Garland inspired Sikes as a young boy in Paris, Texas, while he belted the legend’s greatest hits backed by a seven-piece band. The show won Broadway World’s Best Tribute Show award and prompted The New York Times to declare, “The performance was a hit with critics and audiences alike.”

The reviewers were equally enthusiastic towards his follow-up show Seth Sikes Sings Liza Minnelli. The New York Post said, “It was a heartfelt concert. Sikes has a heap of fans and his audiences are always tightly packed and brimming with enthusiasm for his booming, jazzy renditions of their favorite songs.”

When the Covid pandemic prevented Sikes from performing for live audiences, he created a series of music video parodies (many of which were set on Fire Island) that went viral, seen by hundreds of thousands online. His most recent video, “Ring Them Bells,” was selected to close the globally watched Liza Minnelli 75th birthday tribute.

Sikes also works in the theatre behind the scenes. He was Associate Director for The Band’s Visit and The Nance on Broadway. He directed the original musical Bunked!, which won Outstanding Musical at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2010, as well as The 7th Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant.  Sikes performed Off-Broadway in Fame on 42nd Street.

Critical Acclaim

NEW YORK TIMES

The performance — less an impression of Ms. Garland than an interpretation of her vibrato-heavy method of belting – was a hit.

HUFFINGTON POST

Absolute joy. Incredibly moving. Don't miss it!

LIZ SMITH

I told you recently about a young man, Seth Sikes, who has appeared at the NYC nightspot 54 Below, singing the songs of Judy Garland. I went off to see him last week and couldn’t have been more charmed. He’s young and handsome and enthusiastic. He doesn’t try to duplicate her sound. Sikes has boundless energy and a true, strong voice, with just the right amount of throb and drive and melancholy. The place was packed.

NEW YORK OBSERVER, REX REED

Sikes belted out small gems and big treasures alike to a sold-out house screaming for more. He’s already developing a fan base of Judy addicts and there’s no telling how far Seth Sikes will go.

NY ARTS REVIEW

Sikes may well be one of the saviors of the Great American Songbook as we continue into the 21st century.

BOY CULTURE

Sikes sang just about every famous Judy song (except That One) and never missed a note. His stage patter was fun, too—self-deprecating and giddy; his excitement at the opportunity was infectious.

NY POST

It was a heartfelt concert. Sikes has a heap of fans and his audiences are always tightly packed and brimming with enthusiasm for his booming, jazzy renditions of their favorite songs.

THEATRE PIZZAZ

The crowd responded to each tune Seth performed with wild applause and cheering whooOops. I plan to make it my business to go see Seth perform a Judy set, or any female singer’s music he chooses to do (he admitted a predilection for that). You’d be wise to do likewise.
